Sharp Park Seawall and Horse Stable Pond

This looks north along the seawall. To the left is the Pacific Ocean. To the right is the end of the Sanchez Creek drainage into Horse Stable Pond — noticeably lower than the beach on the left. From there, water is pumped up and over the seawall. Without the seawall, this entire area was a salt-water marsh, and it will become one again—probably sooner than later.
