What:
It’s time for our regular “second Saturday” habitat restoration work party in the Oak Woodlands Natural Area GG Park.
We may be weeding and pruning at our 3rd av and Fulton natural meadow restoration site.
Dylan Hayes and/or Jenny Sotelo , staff gardeners with the SF RPD’s Natural Areas Program will be leading the activities.
This is a great opportunity to see a maturing restoration site with several species of indigenous plants, including coast /live oaks filing in the meadow slope.
Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult and should bring their own gear; otherwise gloves, tools, water and snacks will be provided.
Please do not ’ reply ’ to this email , instead email me at <rcbakewell@gmail.com> or call me at 415-710-9617 for further information.
As is often the case , we are meeting in front of the Conservatory of Flowers in GG Park and will be leaving for the work site at 10 AM.
Please call me if you are late at 415-710-9617 for directions .
